Whakangahau 2021

This year for our annual end of year celebration we decided to give our titirei the opportunity to organise what they wanted to do. They decided they wanted to do something active and exciting so they chose Battle Combat.

The kids loved the opportunity to get outside and be active with each other. Battle combat turns any area into an entertaining and interactive warzone for all ages.

Afterwards, we all came back to the whare and presented our HWK awards, voted on by each other. The awards consist of categories like; most obnoxious laugh, biggest hōhā, best avoider of all mahi, future Kaitātaki and two members who are most likely to get married. The rōpū all get the opportunity to submit their best (or worst) photos of each other to be used in a slideshow for all the nominees.

We then enjoyed a BBQ before farewelling our year 13 leavers.
